End of an Era

 How Does one acquire Knowledge? With academic material and with life experiences that come with age 

With academic material there is a steady supply that knows no ends. Does not matter where you go, what you read, you can access and find academic reading material anywhere nowadays. From Books to Google and any and all other media sources and mediums , Knowledge is easy to acquire .

With age, one is extremely honored if one can say that they had the privilege to obtain Knowledge and skills through the Journey of life. This knowledge you can read about and you can learn about, But it will never be worth anything or have any value to you until you come across a situation where you have to apply this type of Knowledge.

Knowledge is a commodity that is high in demand and low in supply. Invest in the opportunities to acquire Knowledge.

Dear reader, I am afraid This is the last Article to be posted on this platform from this Author.

On 22/07/2024 a Great man passed away at the age of 85 due to natural causes.

It is an honor to be able to call that man my Grandfather. Thank you for your support and loyalty towards this page and these Articles.

This is the end of Era and the beginning of his Legacy 

The political honeymoon is working!

1)All I can add to the parlementerians is keep your diverse veiws to yourselves,debate in the house if you have to.Do no press releases that not approved by all. The best advice is SHUT UP and try to improve our conditions ,with out increasing your already bloated salaries. Work for a change and keep a tight reign on the various segmental budgets. good luck!

2) The Rand has steadied and business in general are very satisfied and are getting on with their doings,with out thinking of leaving the country ,which would lead to thousands of fewer jobs.

3)For once we hope our leaders don't put their foot in it.Their utterings for local consumption usually end up in the world press with very negative results!

A government of national unity for South Africa.

 "Just what the doctor ordered" the very best result if it can be implemented which cut out the extremists from both left and right! Unused to this kind of ruling there likely to be many hiccups before it really works well. Parties there in will have to give up their more extreme ideas. 

Such a policy would let south Africa thrive and create jobs and see to the well being of the population.

A more peaceful time ahead would bring a highrer standard of living and give credence to really becoming non aligned!

War II

 Some thing nobody expected is that the world would land in virtual war with no end in sight. How this mess will untangle no one knows! 

We in South Africa have an inept government  which is rather understating the mess we are in .Luckily we have a wide variety of minerals needed by the world. At the moment Gold is doing very well. GFI has taken advantage of this fact by starting mines all over the world in and then being less influenced by unrest and moves towards socialism etc. Their new mine in Chile SALARES NORTJE will only take thee years to ramp up and not the usual twelve years. It is a low cost project. It is already producing gold. Gold remains a store of wealth. Even if the price of gold were to fall by a third it would remain profitable!

WAR !

 War leads to many miscalculations and of course mistakes. Some dreadful deeds are also done and are likely never to be punished . Especially if they are a major protagonist such as Russia!

 In the case of Israel there has been much hatred as well egged on by Iran which is trying to gain ground against the Sunni's and promote the Shiite brand of Islam as well!

 Elements within  the Israel army probably where   responsible as their love ones were treated horribly by Hamas terrorists . The scenes women being dragged thru the Gaza streets and beaten on by hordes of Palestinians will be with me forever more! What was also noticable that every palestinian joined in ,including children !

 It is definitely not the Israel policy  to bomb aid workers as they are not savages!We saw very little sign of refugees and it looked on TV as if almost 100% of the population enjoyed the carnage!

The Best One can do Now !

 The best one can do now is hold onto sections of stocks one knows are going to be needed in future to supply the needs of the world populations.

 At the moment there so many pressures out there,what with war between major protagonists and even looming further escalations. One should avoid trendy stocks such as " save the world ", types that are promoted by minorities,such as the greens etc. They are all very well over time but make poor investments now.

Minerals such as oil which by the way,can be converted to very clean products are good examples with gas are likely to produce better results than solar panels,wind turbines etc., which are hellishly expensive start ups with many downsides. 

Basic minerals are good bets as well as storers of wealth types, these are basic iron ore and chrome ,newer lithium for smaller devices ,platinum group metals which are used for fuel cells and catalytic converters, gold in its own right that has many more uses than jewellary. 

Minerals are cyclical to a degree, how ever one should not panic at downturns ,as dividends also fall but always recover and do well over time.

 Allways buy the strongest mining houses and holding companies a they have the strength to recover the quickest. New mining assets price might increase rapidly on an idea,but when reality dawns they struggle and  there after ,ramp up periods can be as long as ten years with no real promise of success . If you cannot pay the prices wanted consider an EFT

 such as Satrix resources ,which will give you a good nights sleep or something similar.

Supplies of minerals disrupted

 The low intensity fighting which seems to be spreading around the world,is resulting in severe mineral and  metal shortages. What with boycotts of certain countries such as Russia and allies,the world has woken up to the dangers of having their main adversiry the main suppliers of these products .The main protagonists on the comunist side are which are involved at this stage are Belarus,Russia , China and North Korea. Makiing matters worse   are the so-called neutral states such as Iran with all its sibling hate filled ideas hoping to profit by weakening the capitalist world. Worse is that hold life very cheaply not minding how many of their citizens get killed upholding their religous ideas. The West of course allows freedom of beliefs and peoples as long as this does mean chucking rockets at innocent countries!

South Africa which is supposed to be  neutral has struggeled to sell its precious supplies of platinum group metats and chrome of late which forced prices down However better times would be ahead if we keep that neutrallity as above ground surplasses have been used up .As we and Russia are th main suppliers.
